G'day Carl. I had a similar problem with my Magellan II on my
LX50. It can be repaired. You need some fine insulated wire and
a small soldering iron. Just connect the wire to the same points
that the track on the circuit board connect to. My Magellan II was
dead straight out of the box and I had to repair one of the circuit
boards in 3 places, ( works well now ).
