While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

As I had written before
<<...When it buzzes there is some vibration put onto
the image, yet there is no real motion north or south. I have checked this
with a 9 mm rectile eyepiece...>>
I was using a 9 mm rectile on a Mag 6 star. To determine any N/S motion from
the buzz. When I got the buzz to stop the image improved.
My best guesstimate was that the star would vibrate ~ 1/4 it's diameter in
each direction at that high power. Not my normal viewing method of course. I
will try to determine if it affects lower power with better eyepieces, and if
it affects my ccd images. This may take a few days, weather permitting.
But for planetary at higher powers, it might make all the difference between
good seeing and great seeing.
