OK, suppose that its a long winter night and you're running your dew
heater. I figure that might be as much as 3 amps (at 12v) for 12 hours.
That's 432 watt-hours. If you get a 50 watt panel it will take 9 hours of
full sunlight to replace that much energy. That might just be possible but
barely in the winter depending on your latitude. Such a panel, eg

is about 4.5 square feet. So I guess it is feasible but just barely.
