<<< I dont get mad at him, I find it rather amusing and see it as yet
another "boys and
their toys" example. >>>
In response to the thought above, I am willing to bet that over the course
of a lifetime the money and time spent
on the telescope is equal to the money and time "girls" spend on:
1. going to the beauty shop getting their hair cut and styled;
2. going to the beauty shop to get their hair colored;
3. going to the nails shop getting their "fake" nails put on
and balanced once every two weeks;
4. shopping for new clothes despite having an entire closet
full of perfectly nice clothes to pick from that
only get worn once in a while or once in a lifetime;
5. shopping for new shoes despite having at least 20 to 50
pair sitting in a closet to choose from and usually
only two pair of those being used on a daily basis while
the rest sit there after only being worn once for a "special occasion";
6. shopping for new purses to match the shoes despite having
at least 20 to 50 purses sitting in a closet to choose from and usually
only two purses of those being used on a daily basis while
the rest sit there after only being used once for a "special occasion";
7. buying and putting on all the facial makeup such as
lipstick, eye-shadow, face toner etc, etc, etc.
8. all the high cost and lost cost jewelry that is bought that
sits in a box and never sees the light of day except when passing it down
as heirlooms to the next of kin;
9. tanning at least 2 to 3 times a week in a tanning booth;
Need I say more ???????
