I'm having trouble with my old LX 5 focus knob. At the focus level I =
have a lot of play in the knob! There is a complete turn of the knob =
where there is no pressure and no focus movement this presents a problem =
when trying to fine focus you have to be right on=20
and it will sometimes (most times) slip back out of focus. It takes two =
or three tries to get a good fine focus on planets and other=20
distance objects. I tried the mirror slip process but still have a very =
loose focus.

My scope was purchased in 1989 and I use it quite a lot could I require =
a new (something) in the focus thing a midge?
