First:
The agenda is clear: we have purchased the Pictor416 for adaptation of our
new unique powerful IMAGE RESTORATION SOFTWARE for this camera, because this
IRS must take into account most of important peculiarities of the given CCD
camera with which we will work. The Pictor416 is relatively wide-spread CCD
camera, so, we must include this camera in the list with which our amateur
version of the IRS will work.
We really have enough experience with MEADE's customer service and with quali-
ty of MEADE's equipment. But no sense to repeat all which was told about this
here, in MAPUG. And our negative experience with MEADE eq. (the problem with
PictorView soft. is one in this range) is not mean that we can't ask somebody
about help to make the Pictor (for which we paid $4200 !!!) properly working.
In any case we purchased the Pictor for work with and developing of the IRS
for all Pictor's users if they will would like to work with.
Second:
Our letter with advice about good equipment for CCD works was as private post
and was not for spread in the list.
Third:
You seems, Michael, as MEADE's guard or as man who accustomed for distrust
to all opical firms. Is this based on your own experience?
Regards,
Valery.
