The server that currently hosts both the FTP and WEB sites that support ASTROMART, MAPUG (formerly the LX200 group), SBIG User Group, Celestron User Group, Astro-Software, and the ATM group is experiencing some unexpected down time as a new shell machine is added. All work is expected to be complete by Monday (California time and date) morning.

If you try to access the site, you may encounter all sorts of messages. The only thing that's for sure is that you won't get connected.

I apologize for this unplaneed outage. The thing that makes it worth tolerating is that there will be a **** TEN FOLD **** increase in FTP and WEB connect capacity !! Availability should be wonderful once the work is complete.

I appreciate your understanding during this period. The downtime was not anticipated, or I would have given more notice
