I still get the feeling that you don't understand the PEC learn feature on the smaller LX200s. The learn feature simply allows us to do what Meade did for you. We can only train out the *periodic* error on the worm. The only difference is that we must try and fight atmospheric scintillation while we do it and your was trained against a standard. The "learn" feature on the smaller scopes is *not* the same as the DEC train, which does account for drift.
