++++Now they can use the shipping charges as a punitive barrier to push
you away from further requests to make good on the optics, especially
with them doing the testing. This is a similar attitude that we
experienced with Ford until the local dealership stepped in on our
behalf. I take it that Poconco/Glenn Jacobs is not able to excert any
pressure for a fair solution.

+++++I doubt this with your experience and the side-by-side comparisons
are very difficult to blame the difference on external factors, such as
seeing, large vs. small apertures, etc. Your experience makes me very
relunctant to risk purchasing a new scope from Meade. Should I decide on
another scope, I'll buy a used scope where I can star test before
purchase or from a dealer that will guarantee satisfaction or money
back. Really sorry you're having such a bad experience.
