Subject: [M]: LX10: Defect optics or normal ?

I just received my LX-10 the other day and haven't had
any good opportunity to startest it yet. The seeing has
not been good over Stockholm the last couple of days...
Occasionaly I have been able to observe Mars and some stars
and have noticed the following phenomena (defect?):
When star/Mars is out of focus, the resulting donut has some
dark radial streaks on "top"/"north" or "bottom"/"south"
depending on in which direction i defocus. When I try to focus
on the star/Mars the dark streaks and the dark central spot comes
together and forms a tearshaped dark spot before it disappears.
I haven't been able to focus satisfactory on a star or Mars
yet but this I blame the bad seeing...
The secondary mirror is properly collimated and I let the scope
adjust to the outdoor temperature for at leat one hour.
So: Is this a defect or normal for SCT/Meade optics ?
Thanks in advance for all help!
