Your Astroviking buddy ric has another tid-bit for your astro-info to
swallow.......
The 8",10" and the 12" uses the exact same motor for RA and dec. This means
(I know some of you already figured this out) that you can really load the 8"
with a lot of acc. before you get into over amp. problems with the motors.
Meade says to limit the weight to 25 extra pounds. I run my 10" fully
loaded with a 2045 4" guider, telerad, JMI zero focuser, motor focus, 9x60
finder, losmandy rings and dovetail and a Meade weight balance system, dew
shield and zapper, 2" dia, and a 40mm teleview wide field. In
