Rob,
I have a bit to much slop in my dec. also. Its only a problem for me when
I'm guiding for astrophotography otherwise its not really a problem. To
counter for backlash I adjust the wedge so the dec. runs in one direction
only, hence no backlash unless the motor has to reverse direction. The
Pictor 201 XL seems to like this arrangement........ric
