Some general questions about the LX200:
1) What, specifically, is the difference between software versions 2.4, 2.5, 3.2, and 3.3?
2) Or, stated another way, what specifically is to be gained in paying $495 for going from v2.5 to v3.2?
3) And what is to be gained in paying $150 for going from v3.2 to v3.3?
4) It was very difficult to understand the stated differences over the phone while talking to "John" and "Scott" at Meade vs what I read in the adds.
5) I'am planning to use Carina's Voyager II with the optional SkyPilot (for the MAC) to remotely controlled the scope -- any comments?
6) Are there any other MAC/CCD users out there?
7) Are there any tabulated "shootout" results from evaluating the SBIG 4,5,6,7,8/Pictor 416, etc.?
8) Jim Leonard of Santa Ana, Ca has a LX200 new letter going by US mail. Don't know if he will be (go) on-line. He appears to have some very good contacts with Meade (vps and the like). Will you join forces with him?
9) I've been saving these questions for 60 years -- i. e., ready to get out of the chair and go for it.
Thanks,
Bob Tiffany
