Hi Robert;

I think I'll create a separate directory for the alignment surveys. I did several runs last night and my results were marginal. About 5' from the center on average. I found some other *quirks* about my scope which I want to run by Ron Ezra before publically posting my results. The scope may have a problem.

A few thoughts: It might be nice to list how far off center the star is in both DEC and RA, or Alt-Az, listing each direction. I found that I wanted to know if I was always off on a given axis.

I seems as though this survey is more about pointing accuracy than alignment. Perhaps it should be called something that conveys that.

Anyway ... just thoughts ... do with as you please.
