Hello,
as far as I know (this seems to be the case in Belgium and the
Netherlands), it depends on the dealer and the services he is willing
to provide whether the upgrade is possible. If he has a destination
for the old drive and has his own shop, he may do so.
I don't think Meade offers an upgrade but the situation may be
different in the US.

Hi, I have purchased a Meade 10inch SC, model 2120. I would like to upgrade the mount to a LX200. Has anyone any info on this? I have written to Meade but have so far not received a reply.
