I find it take me about 10 mins to unpack & setup my 10" from a car by myself.

Lugging the carry case around with the LX-200 in it requires a luggage trolley since its too heavy & bulky to carry by myself (average height & build). I carried it on my shoulder once, but it was a strain !

Setup can be done by myself with ease, though centering the scope on the tripod and getting the threaded rod clamp to bite without the scope falling off or stripping the tread is a bit tricky !

Otherwise, its a fine piece of engineering in all senses and have no regret going that bit extra and getting the 10".

I recently returned from a 4000km trip to the Karoo desert in a Fiat Uno with the scope in the back. I had to take out the rear seat though. Lots of bumpy, dirt roads but clear skies (ahem). The scope survived the bumping and dust fine, although I did give it lots of TLC.

Cheers for now,
