This might sound silly, but once after not using my telescope for more than
3 months, I made a one star alignment and the telescope could not even find
Jupiter wich was very close by. I checked everything and found that the
problem was with the internal clock wich was20 minutes ahead of the real
time. Set the clock properlly and everything went OK.
