Hobbes,
My 12" has version 4.34 and my 8" has version 3.34 as do the 10"
LX200's. I was told that the difference in the 4.34 vs 3.34 is that
the 12" slew rate is limited to six rather than eight degrees per second.
Presumably, the Mak version has some difference factored
into the firm ware. I don't think that the refractors have firmware
that is similar enough to the LX200's to consider in comparison.
