Dear astronomer friends,

After almost two months of cloudy weather and finishing a permanent pier
for my 10" Lx-200, I test it tonight and a nightmere occurred-- the
declination drive did NOT respond after the North or South buttons were
pressed!

After monitoring this newsgroup for so long and the declination drive
problem come up so frequently, I am afraid that the worse could happen to
me. Does it mean that I have to ship this 100 Lbs scope back to Meade and
suffer a at least two months down time? Or is it highly possible that
the declination motor is burned and is a spare kit available? Any
suggestions welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
