Subject: [M]: STARFINDER: 12.5 vs. 12, and other questions

As list owner, some of you were concerned that I didn't actually "own" a
Meade any longer ! (The Ultima 2000 is doing fine, btw), but I find myself
with a starfinder (2nd hand) on the way this weekend!

Questions

1. I already have an NGCMAX, does anyone know how much encoders run for
Starfinder dobs ?

2. Why have they changed the diameter of the scopes from 12.5 to 12" in that
category, any insight?

3. What is the maximum height of the eyepiece on this scope. I assume it's
not too high since it is only f/4.5

Thanks!

Thanks! - Todd
