Hi Tim

I have a 12inch LX200 equtaorial mount, and use a one star aligment at a
known site alignment. I use a ST-7 at f/6.3 which gives me a field 12*8 arc
minutes. Over 70 images taken with this configuration, all but 2 have fallen
onto the chip. The only catch is a I generall image near alignment star.
When I move to different area of the sky I re SYNC the scope, then continue.
The two that missed where in a different part of the sky without SYNCing.

A couple of other objects missed the CCD chip, but object before and after
where centred. Then I realised that the co-ordindates in the LX200 database
were different to the co-ordinates on the chart I was using. When I manually
entered the other co-ordinates, the object promptly appeared.

For anyone else reading this, is there a list of corrections to the meade
database?

Brendan.
