Hi, Ralph,

I think this is usual on most KAF 0400 based CCD cameras. I own a HI SIS 22
with some hot pixels too. These are considered to be abnormal pixels and are
to be removed individually.
In the software I use (QMips 32, by Christian Buil) an ASCII file can be
established with the hot pixels' coordinates, and a specific function
removes them automatically. Median filter seems to be too energetic and
affects stars especially if their PSF is small.

Regards, Jean.
