Off topic posts are vital to the comradarie of our mail list.
However, when there are more OT than on topic posts,
it is time to put the brakes on.

Those of you who have generously donated $ towards the
MAPUG list in the past week almost ALL expressed concern
about the PC/MAC thread. The recent thread that I opened on Telextenders
specifically requested responses by email. The BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE US
.. should have gone right to private email as well. Please respect this
decision,
it is based on previous "heated" discussions amongst list members.

If you do decide to help me, and step in with reminders by email to the
individuals stray off topic, pleaseBE NICE! I remember being humiliated
when I first joined MAPUG when Robert Fields was an administrator,
because I asked a pretty on-topic question (that was perceived as off topic)
about where to buy Rob Roys pizza plate for the lx200, or something like that.
