Hi,

I've had my 10"LX200 for a few weeks. I am 13 years of age and am enjoying this telescope. I am 'mad' about astronomy and use my LX-200 10" telescope every night (provided it is clear!) from my home in Adelaide, South Australia. I have already taken some quick astrophotos and, with a 5min exposure, taken a great photo of the Orion Neb. At the minute I restrict astrophotos to 5mins because I do not have my wedge. Can I take longer exposures without the superwedge?

Also, does anyone experience electro shocks from touching the tripod? I solved this problem myself by earthing the tripod (quite simple!). Should this telescope do this, or is it only static?
