Has anyone actually tried the PICTOR CCD-s ? A lot of europeans should have this in order, but I haven't heard of anyone really recieving it... I have tried to get at least a demo disk on their CCD software (which should run equally on both mac and pc-s ? ) but no result... We have raised foundations enough to get a 16" SCT ST6 equipped telescope. Bot instruments run perfect, but the relaxed time schedule we have experienced several times within Meade instruments makes me suspicious. Why is Meade sooooo ssllloooowwwww, or is this only a European problem.... ?? If yes, I suggest another FAQ-topic : "Typical delays due to Meade.." Does anyone know if SBIG - in reaction to Meades productline - will prod anything bigger than the ST6 ? (Does SBIG have an Internet adress?)
