I have a Meade 8 inch LX200 (of which I am extremely satisfied). My eyepieces (all Meade: I took advantage of the recent 2 for 1 sale) are the following:

-13.8mm, 18mm, both Super Wide angle (very useful) -26 mm Plossl (not used much: came with the scope) -8mm Ultra Wide angle (used when I want high power) -40mm Super Wide angle (used almost all the time)

I use the 40mm (this gives me 50X) about 75% of the time. It's a great eyepiece with a great view. It can also be used with the Lumicon Oxygen III in the 2 inch size.

I hope this is useful.

Pierre
