Again, please excuse these last remarks, but I too find that if discussions
continue to be limited to observation tables and getting the bubble level
correctly mounted, I too will "unsubscribe".

Unfortunately getting the scope level properly is one of the
most important parts of aligning an LX200 to work properly over
all the sky to its best pointing ability so the levels and their
proper use is vital.But the other problem is purely human nature
ie people like to talk and it is easy to diversify but
sometimes useful things come out of this that solve problems
by methods that you have not heard by other sources such
as news groups.A lot of us do get the mail for free,I only pay when I
am at home and that
is for phone only which in England is a total rip off ,I do not have
to pay a vendor as
my work location provides access free.However I can understand Steves
problem where he has to pay for everything.
So Steve why not try one month on one month off etc the same
applies to other people who get fed up.
