What us a Feather Touch focuser, and where can one be purchased? Several
years ago in order to critical focus with my CCD Video Camera, I
cannibalized a visual back and rack/pinion focuser to make a fine
focusing mechanism for my LX200 10". It also sticks out about 4" past the
back, limiting travel, but for what I use it for, the scope never points
high enough to cause the problem of it trying to jam itself between the
forks. Give me some specs on the Feather Touch...1) how far back does it
extend from the back of the tube assembly?; 2) what type of focusing does
it use; 3) is it adaptable to be motorized? 4) where can it be purchased;
5) cost; etc.....
