Question: can I get away with getting about 60 ft. of telephone handset
cord and bringing the hand controller inside the house with me to run my
telescope for CCD imaging?

Ive set up my 12" LX-200 in a back yard roll-off roof shed, and just
gotten a 75 ft. cable for the ST-6 camera. Now I need to do telescope
control. It occurs to me that if I can just bring the hand controller the
same distance, Ill just about have it made. I already replaced the
supplied hand controller cord with a slightly longer one designed for
telephone handsets.
I may not need to use another program besides CCD-OPS that way.
Any general advise on the topic would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
