Allen,
Your experience with the scope being able to re-center Rigel would
indicate that your RA encoder is not dropping counts randomly. Its
almost as if the resolution of your encoder is not what the ROMS think
it is. (That is, the ROMS think you have a different number of counts
per rev. than your encoder is actually putting out.) Has the RA encoder
ever been upgraded during the evolution of the LX200?
