Wow! I just joined the group a few days ago so I'm not sure of the
background of all that's been happening.
However, I gather from the really hot comments that have come into
my mail box recently that either this group has an awful lot of
people that no longer own Meade equipment (how could they be so
unhappy with the product and still own one?) or people that are so
unhappy they're ready to sell their "junk" at really low prices!
If the latter is the case, let me know and maybe we can cut a deal.
If it's that bad, I expect I can get a lot of stuff at a mere
fraction of its retail value.
I want to thank those of you that responded to my request for info
on software for remote control of my LX 200. Much appreciated. I
have a few more questions having to do with potentially reducing
mirror slop when slewing the scope, but I suspect I'd better save
that one, and a few others I have, for a time when my monitor won't
catch fire from all of the heat out there!
Meanwhile, if possible............ enjoy astronomy!!
