David...you might have a tough time keeping the person there long enough to
unpack and inspect everything. They usually arent even required to help
you carry it into your house. Most will though. Anyway, it took me quite
a while to unpack (SAVE ALL PACKING MATERIALS) my 12" LX200 and tripod and
set it up the first time. Even then I wasnt convinced my scope was o.k.
Now I am convinced that the seeing was very poor and for this scope...it
must be excellent. If you havent looked through a 12" LX200 yet...youll
see what I mean. Have fun and good luck.
