Dear sirs,
Ive just bought a "Compressed-Gas Duster"; it is intended to blow air to
clean surfaces from dust. The back panel says it contains difluoroethane, and that
it should not be used on camera mirrors, and that liquid form may cause plastic to
discolor.
I wanted to use it to remove dust from the Schmidt lens of our Meade LX200
12", and from eyespieces, and other accesories, but now I am afraid of damaging
the multicoating, or something. Does anybody know if I can use it safetly or not?
Thank you very much in advance,
Luis G. Lopez
