I only recently discovered the MAPUG Mailing List (after several years
living overseas without personal access to the net, and then several months on
the near dead lx200-l mailing list). I have been reviewing the archives on
netsys.com, and have found a wealth of great info; however, I have two
problems/questions.
1) I cannot get the archive search engine to work properly (using Mosaic, the
search generates a list of some sort, but the entries are not linked properly to
any messages), hence I have to manually search for info by scrolling through the
lists, and guessing at subjects.
2) I cannot figure out how to easily download the archives (that is, other then
one message at a time).
Is there some way for me to download the archives easily (ftp,for
instance)? If I could download the data base, I could use my own search
routine.
