The funny thing about the whole Mac vs Windows "debate" is that Microsoft is
generally considered the "savior" of the Macintosh. It is generally believed
that if Microsoft had not had some good apps available when the Mac launched,
the Macintosh would not have been a success.

It is a further irony that Microsoft continues to vigorously support Mac
development. It was supposedly possible to port Visual C++ Windows apps to
the Mac without having to rewrite everything. (Not having tried it, I can't
say if this was true.) And Microsoft is about to announce the Macintosh
version of Visual C++.

There is no longer any excuse for not having both Mac and Windows versions of
your software.
