Hello fellow stargazers.

First of all , many thanks to everyone who answered to my previous help
call.

The general concesus was cable problem! I have carefully checked Meade's
cable and it is OK! Continuity checks out, and all connections on the
three used cables, out of the six, are correct.

The problem being that I cannot establish communication between the
laptop, via RS232 cable, to the scope.

The laptop gives me the following notice:

Communication Error!
READ Timeout!
Communication terminated.

I am communicating over COMM 1 (trying to) but it will not accept any of
the comm ports. When I go to : TELESCOPE, PROTOCOL, MEADE LX200,
after a while, I get the above message.

Does anyone have any idea(s) on the solution to this problem. Greatly
appreciate any comments.
