I use an IBM Thinkpad 500, 486/50, 12MB, Adaptex SCSI PC card adapter. Works
fine with imagers. This model line is no longer produced. it can be obtained
used at good prices. Also use a backpack CDROM unit to run" The Sky". My
observatory has a monitor which I prefer to the screen. This unit replaced an
old desktop. Desktop machines respond poorly to changing weather conditions.

What laptop should I get for Meade CCD operation outside at the
telescope.
Meade software requirements are 8 MB RAM, 486 or pentium,SCSI adapter.

Thanks, Bruce
