Hello. I have a 8" F6.3 Lx200 and I want to get into some lunar and deep
space photography with it. I have the hardware but my questions are what
would be some good exposure times for perhaps the
Moon, I figure about 1/30 sec.
M51
etc. I will be photographing many of the Ursa Major M Objects as well as
some Ic objects. I am not really concerned with getting first rate pics I
just want some experience. Keep in mind I live on the east coast and my
observing site is dark but not compared to other standards. I do not have a
Off Axis Guider and dont really want to get that far into Astrophotography
to get one yet.
