Oh, yes, I agree whole heartedly, I was just bringing out the point, that in a light polluted environment (moderately so...), the LX200 CAN do just that, blow through a bunch in a short period of time. I have no intention of doing a fly-by sighting of so many objects in such a short period of time w/o considering it just a "preview" to more serious observation down the road...
