Dick,
My scope does pretty well the same even using hpp.Its
performance varies with the mounted load on the scope.
If I run it without anything ie no dew shields,finders attached etc
and only the CCD camera the pointing accuracy is at its best.
As I load it up even after taking great care in balancing the scope
out , the errors get worse in certain parts of the sky.I have put it
down to fork flexure as any inherent drift in either axis that I have
not tuned out by polar alignment changes to match.
