Greetings,

With all the talk, recently, about solar filters and solar
images, I decided that while the moon was being nasty I would
investigate our Sun. I ordered a full aperture solar filter from
Orion and it arrived today. With all the excitement of a young
kid at Xmas I ran outside to tryout the filter. I was amazed at
the view! What a great way to spend full moon days. I took all
of the precautions, like making sure the finder and guide scope
were covered. I grabbed my OM-1 and took some images. If you
would like to see the images point your browsers to:

Please forgive the terrible focus on the images. With my
excitement I didn't pay enough attention to focus. I will do
better tomorrow.

Clear Ones to the List.
