Televue does fix eyepieces here in the U.S. but they are made
overseas, older ones in Japan and the newer ones in Taiwan. The cost to
replace the eyecup on an two inch eyepiece is $35 plus shipping and
handleing. To me this was a lot of money for a piece of rubber so I made
one out of a camera lens shade, which is not pretty but works just the
same. I dont know how much for a alignment and cleaning, it could be
the same but I was afraid to ask. This is the only problem I have ever
had with an eyepiece, TV, Meade or Celestron................
