Dear friends,
I got a lot of new images with my 10" LX200 and my old ST-4. They are mainly
planetary and moon images, showing a lot of details, and they seem to me of quite
good quality, specially for the enviromental condition in which they were made
(from a light-polluted area, with smoggy sky). As I don't seem to recognize any
particular defect in the frames (except, maybe and not for all, a slight
out-of-focus), and it seems they are really 'diffraction-limited', I was wondering
if this could be a sort of sign of good optics. You can see these images on my
Website, under 'My own Moon page' and 'Planets' Images' (the URL is in the
signature).
Any comments are welcome!
Clear skies and TIA,
Fabio
