Thank you for your reply. I am using a dell Latitude LM 166mmx 72meg ram 2.1
drive. After deleeting all previous versions of pictor v., I installed 6.2
from a disk supplied from meade then downloaded 6.3 to hard drive frm meades
site. I updated the camera 6.1 flsh every thing went fine, and all files and
folders from other installed versions were completly deleeted. In the field
last night focus mode which used to work, now won't let me draw a box arround
object. Also auto center funtcion doesn't seem to want to moov even a star to
the center. Also the camera will lock-up both camera controll box as well as
my laptop forcing me to re-boot both devices, this happened durring simple
imaging (12) or more times,Iwas imaging the moon. When trying to auto focus
on a mag. 3.5 star I could here the 1206 focuser moving but no focus was ever
achieved. How close to focus do you have to be for this feature to work? I'll
stop for now Greg Briles allmost ex- 416xt user. Ihave been at this for 6mo
and feel i have been patient and have gotten some decent Images, but the
instability of the system and the fact all reported features won't work (at
least for me) ie. auto center, auto focus, claims meade made in product litt,
along with other claims that moved me to buy the product, arn't coming true.

My version was a Y splitter taken apart and rewired to use both ports in the
LX-200 with the intention of using TheSky for slewing and the 416 for
autocentering.
I found I preferred the hand control in the HPP mode better than TheSky.

PV 6.3 and 3.1 for the flash BIOS are the latest.
Set PV 6.3 to 9600 before flashing the BIOS.

Tell me about your computer. What 2 ports on LX200?
