Subject: [M]: My clock reset on its own!

Something bizarre happened tonight. I keep my LX200 clock set to Universal
Time with an offdet of 0 hrs. This way, I never have to think things through
during Daylight Savings time, and all astronomical events are indicated
using UT anyway. Last night, I checked the clock and it was displaying the
correct UT/offset of 0.
I took the scope out again tonight, and after powering up I checked the
clock. To my amazement, it was displaying the correct LOCAL time with an
offset of +6 (which is correct for me, as I live in the Central Time zone).
I did not reset the time or offset between last night and tonight. Does
anyone out there have any idea as to how this could have happened or what
problem it may indicate? I don't believe it is the battery which has been
replaced within the last year.

Thnks for your thoughts.
