Hi Ralph

I downloaded V6.3 on to my previous 6.2 vers. then proceeded to place
vers. 6.4 over 6.3. Then, just trying to look at the image M20.fts by
going to FILE, OPEN, IMAGES and M20.fts, I got a completely dark-black
picture. Tried using right-arrow and up-arrow for background and/or
range and nothing happened. Proceeded to go to IMAGE(from menu) and then
IMAGE SCALING, and that was the end of the running program. Got one of
those ERROR messages and closing down of the program saying PICTOR has
made a non valid operation and it was proceeding to shut down. And it
did. If I try using the image scaling icon it does the same.

I have also noticed if I bring an image from the original file (IMAGE)
either in .fts or .bmp format, as I place the cursor on any part of the
image I should get the XY coordinates and Dn numbers moving in the
status bar, well they don't. As the image comes in with some numbers,
they stay the same and don't change.

All this is happening without the camera being hooked up. If you have
any suggestions as to how I can fix this problem, will appreciate any
and all help.

Clear skies
Alex Popov
