Ive generated a "concordance" between the LX200 SAO database and the SKY
CATALOGUE 2000.0:

ftp://ftp.halcyon.com/pub/users/burrjaw/sao.zip

The zipped file has two ASCII files: sao.asc:

168 6.60 U Cep (v), A830
308 2.02 1 alf UMi, Polaris (v), A1477 UMI
345 6.90 A1659
500 5.95 A2348
...

which contains all SAO numbers from the LX200 database and the
corresponding info from the Catalogue. (Ive added the constellation name
in capital letters to the brightest star in each of the 88 (?)
constellations, like Polaris above.) The second file missed.asc:

17858 7.0
19827 4.6
19826 4.29 17 xi Cep, Kurhah, A15600
21002 6.9
23763 5.4
23765 5.28 A2270

contains SAO numbers from the LX200 database with no corresponding entry in
the Catalog and, vice-versa, SAO numbers from the Catalog which should have
been in the LX200 database. There seems to be a fair amount of mis-numbering.
