I can only guess two possibility. First, are you using an CCD autoguider?
That could be a source of irregular tracking. Second, has the motor and
chip been updated since you received the scope? If not, call Meade and see
if the earilier models (older motor and firmware) had his problem. Who
knows, maybe they have a fix chip for this.
How long is the worm period? I've always wanted to know.
