Probably due to the new automatic pre-scaling doing it's best to give
you an image - if you checked the pixel values you would likely see they
were all very low. I don't know why they bother with the pre-scaling,
it's never anywhere near correct in my experience, and you can't turn
the damn thing off. Much prefer to pre-set the pre-scaling manually
myself for current and all subsequent images.
