The 20mm Nagler is very nice for deep sky. I also like and use the 35mm
Panoptic a lot, but I am using it on a 7" f/15 Mak. I wouldn't be
surprised if it had problems on a an 8" f/6.3.

For planets, I prefer a Brandon to a Nagler or Panoptic. The Brandon has
a lot less glass which gives it better contrast on bright objects. The
Brandon less field of view, but you don't need it with planets.
